    All three NFC South teams could end up in the playoffs, but you're right about Washington. If they did win out, we wouldn't get in at 10-6 because of their superior conference record.

    I thought strength of victory referred to actual point spread, but apparently it doesn't. It refers to the collective winning percentage of the opponents you beat, so it actually hurts us that we lost to good teams while TB lost to the 49ers and Jets. That means we pretty much have to win one more game than the Bucs over these last three contests to get the division.

    Damn.

    I remember the season ending Carolina versus Green Bay where they actually played different teams in a shoot out to score more point. I thought THAT was strength of victory stuff. Oops.

    Yeah, I know. According to the NFL, strength of victory only takes into account the records of the teams you've beaten. Strength of schedule then takes into account the records of all the teams you've played.
