Is it any good? With the new addition to the family I'm looking to cut a few discretionary expenses and was contemplating switching from broadband to DSL. Any thoughts?

DSL is broadband other than that here is a site that might help in your decision making.

yup basically you're just slowing up a little switching to certain DSL bands. Some are as fast as some Cable connections around here. I'm happy with my Road Runner, but my work pays for me to have it for free. If I had to pay, and if I were expecting a child, I'd have no problem stepping back to DSL. I've had it in the past when RR wasn't around this area and I was satisfied. I only switched because at the time I paid the same thing for DSL as I would be for Cable and Cable was faster.

I'm still hoping this will be available here sooner than later. http://www22.verizon.com/FiOSForHome/channels/FiOS/root/package.aspx

Dayum I can't comprehend Up to 30 Mbps. Our cable runs around 1.7mbps. Seems to me 30mbps means the connection anticipates your next move and clicks before you do :woot:
