Pepp was NOT in the lockeroom for postgame (likely getting treatment), Ruck gave interviews.

Considering Pepp came back in, played, and whipped ass, I'd say he'll be fine...he likely wont practice wednesday, but be back thursday. if he can go weds, he will, but wouldnt be surprised if he rested.

Anyone else think that Jim Mora Jr. and August Busch from the Anheiser Busch commercials are identical twins separated at birth. I swear they are identical

I hate them both.....father and son.

I mean, fucking hate them. Particularly lil' Jimmy. I also hate that fucker Ed Donatell. He was actually talking shit to Smitty yesterday after one of his first down grabs.

Update on Pep from Darin Gantt .SCARY SIGHT: Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers left the field with assistance in the first quarter after Falcons tight end Alge Crumpler chopped his left knee blocking on a running play. The Falcons have become known for the cut-blocking style with line consultant Alex Gibbs (who made the tactic famous in Denver), and they used it often against the Panthers.

When Peppers returned, right tackle Todd Weiner appeared to dive straight at Peppers' knee on the next play.

Peppers finished the game, and afterward said he was fine, and there was no question he'd play this week against Tampa Bay. But he was wearing a walking boot on his left foot designed to keep the weight off his leg.

Peppers downplayed Crumpler's block, pointing to their long relationship that goes back to their days together at North Carolina.

"I know Crump, I've known him for about 10 years now," Peppers said. "I know he didn't do it intentionally. It's part of the game.

"That's a play that happens. Everybody gets cut. It just happens that it was me he got on it. But I don't have no hard feelings on that

I disslike that beady eyed Mora Jr a bunch. His dad's not nearly as bad. I don't like Sr., but I don't really disslike him either.

The Gibbs blocking style is awful. But it's legal.

If Pep, who's demeaner is very soft, was a mean, fired up mofo, he'd be the best the nfl has ever seen.
