Just caught on the radio not for sure if it's true. Would be a hoot though.

I'd have no prob with that, as long as they deactivate him for the rest of the season as well. Hopefully, even, he has to return his pay for the year and any signing bonus.

Just fire his ass and save us all the yelling and posturing. Oh wait, I switched back to Fox. Never mind.

Actually, I have, too. At least Fox will spend more than 15 seconds on Panthers coverage. I like and respect Howie Long, and he's been a Panthers fan pretty much since John Fox took over as HC.

I like the guys on Fox, but it's 99.9% comedy now instead of 50%. Plus Bradshaw isn't even trying anymore. He gets practically everyone's name wrong, which was funny coming from Harry Carey, but not so much from bald infomercial.

And as for Irvin, if it's true then it's just another reason for me to hate ESPN. Not only does it set an embarrassing precedent, but if he's back on the crack then something is obviously going to happen again.

Yeah, it's definitely a 'lesser of two evils' situation. I wonder if the NFL Network has better pre- and post-game analysis.

I've actually been watching the NFL Network a lot lately. They have some decent analysis, although I'm no fan of TD and Emmitt, but I really like the press conferences and the behind the scenes stuff.

    Why the silence, Tom?

Remember when Tom Jackson threatened to resign from ESPN if Ross Asshole wasn't fired over the McNabb thing? Wonder why Jackson is so silent with the Irvin thing?
