    I liked the part where he was talking about the protection the bears o-line was providing. He counted off 6 seconds not realizing that he was counting to a replay that was being shown in slow motion.

    Considering that he was actually at the game, I would assume he knew it was a replay.

    Now, slow motion...thats another story.

    Since there was nothing worth talking about on the field at the time, my buddy and I discussed that call for awhile. I mean, WTF? If you are an announcer and cant at least remember what side of the ball a person plays on, you should be fired on the spot. Isnt knowing who is playing a central theme of your job requirement.

    The funniest part about that call though was the other announcer says: "well we know its not gaines" or something along those lines and then the first guy says: "what?" right before they cut to commercial. I guess he was trying to entertain the Panthers fans who had to watch that crap.

    They don't get to pick their partners either. As bad as it was for us, imagine having to sit next to that idiot and be in meetings with him for seventeen weeks.
