Yea obviously. I said in a post farther down that his argument about the kick in the teeth was valid. I do not really understand where the hate came from. Does being a state fan make you that bitter?

Carolina has no rushing game. Without a rushing game, they won't win the division.

I'm not worried about us playing hard when we feel like it because I don't think that's true in the least. The sideline thing was bothersome, but I can't really recall any times this year where the players weren't trying; they just didn't execute. What worries me is that we may only be able to play up to a certain level no matter how hard we try. Previously I thought that we'd continue to improve, but Jake keeps throwing dumb INTs, the offensive line isn't getting any more effective, and the run defense actually seems to be regressing.

only thing in the back of my mind is in '03 philly and dallas kicked our teeth in, in the regular season, and made us look like the shit we were today. then we owned them in the tourny. so as bad as we looked there's hope, if we can turn the run game around like we did the passing, which is probably much harder.

god, is our o-line as bad as they seem.

If this game serves as a wake up call/light a fire under their collective butts type lesson, then glad still might be too strong a word, but certainly should we play lights out the rest of the way, I can look back with a slightly more positive (or just less negative) view on today's fiasco. So let's revisit this thought in January. Right now I don't think I'll feel better about it soon.

    .

We play best when we're in the bottom half of the power rankings.

thing is, though, we've been ranked high for weeks.

Maybe some of those teams were just that awful.
