And hit all day. The first two picks were bad, but we didn't block without holding and could not move the ball.

Wharton was awful, Reyes, Gross and Mitchell were nearly as awful, and even Wahle missed blocks. No running lanes and rarely 3 seconds to pass.

Wharton gave up five sacks, he got owned out there too. Of coarse Delhomme was playing scared the whole game and rarely stepped up even when Mitchell did not get pushed 5 yards back.

All I know is this.... Gantt better write a fucking retraction. At least about Whale.

Watching the refs try to give Vick the victory....

Yeah. Even so, if Delhomme hadnt thrown those two pics, were 3-3 at the end of the fourth.

Fuck Delhomme. Ive seen enough of his bullshit. We need to bring in serious competition next year.

Foster needs to be getting the start. Every down.

Davis simply lacks the burst/explosion/home-run ability. The line has been well below-average, but it doesn't help that they are blocking for a back that is not, IMO, getting it done.

Still no excuse for the sacks. The shotgun should have been utilized earlier in the game.

    Jake can't make those passes.

But part of the reason is the pressure around him, and would with all quarterbacks, even more mobile ones. When he's played bad, the rush and lack of running has typically been involved.

Agreed, but if you go back and look you will see that the Bears did not have a sack by the time they had two interceptions. Jake played scared and did exactly what I feared/predicted he would do. Granted, we won't play many defenses as good as Chicago's, but Delhomme is always going to throw the ball up under pressure.

Our O-Line got absolutely bitch-slapped today. Owned.

If they, we, have any pride, then we will learn from this game and come out & kick ass the rest of the season.

Absolutely dismal. I hope that this helps our players put things in perspective.

That being said, it was very obvious that the Bears had some calls go their way. I can deal with that....except that we never seem to have the same kind of home-field advantage at Ericksonn...

Pressure was applied then, though on at least one of the picks it was picked up (I think the second). Either way, he knows it was cover two. He may have thought he thought he could thread it, but sidearm/backfoot shit made it a shitty pass.

Again, not giving Jake a pass. He played better in the second half, but the first half you are correct, he played badly against pressure. But the offensive line was terrible, and I don't think it would have mattered.
