    You do know that his contract is going to escalate to the point that he's going to be one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the league, right? Forget my frustration with his mistakes, does it make sense for us to keep Jake at that price? Obviously not, which is the same reason we let Moose go.

    We let Moose go not only cause of the contract, but cause we knew we had Steve Smith who has performed better than him. If we let Jake go, who do we have left? no one, we'd have to go pick up a backup somewhere or draft a QB.
