Am I the Only one?

Theres a decent sports bar called Joe's on Weed Street in River North area (off North Avenue). But it ain't close to a Hooters. There's a Hooters downtown but I havent been to Chicago bars in so long, i wouldn't know where to begin telling you.

I don't know anything about sports bars in Oak Lawn. My fam just moved there last year. We be city folk, not burbies. But from what i could tell in Oak Lawn, um, no decent sports bars. Seriously, you're better off downtown.

 

Yeah, downtown is where it's at for certain! I used to hit Excaliber and Baja Surf Club whenever I was downtown. Also really dig Fado, that place is cool as shit on the inside, good grub too...try the Boxty!
I worked at a Baja Surf Club in Cedar Rapids that was a smaller scale version of the Chitown club in all ways. Even the bouncers were three times the size of me. Those guys were cool as shit though, I told them about the club in CR and they called the manager over and he and the owner in CR knew eachother, I got VIP'd!

We'll probably hit Hooters and head downtown, that's what I'd prefer anyway. Hooters will probably have the Penn State game on...maybe???

 

Difference is, Im telling the truth!

 

Scored my tickets today...pretty good lowers.

if you guys are doing anything before the game, let me know. maybe we can all catch up. I'll bring some Old Style.

After Smith made that long catch, celebrated it by spinning the ball and the Panthers ended that drive with a missed FG... I walked to the bottom of the section (I was in the lower bowl, 30 yd line behind the Panthers bench) and yelled to Smith (who was about 15 yards from me) "Hey Steve, how many points did you get for that catch?"
