I am going from Charlotte to Chicago for the game.. of course Im a Bears fan, so Im not sure Im what you were looking for.. lol.


Flying up Friday.

My cousin has season tkts so I am tagging along with him. We're staying in Oak Park near Hooters somewhere...and there are a bunch of strip clubs near there as well I guess.

Ima call him today and get the details.

Either way, I'll be relatively easy to find. White Panthers Jersey, #41 with McFly on the back. Don't think you'd see too many of those? If you see me give a shout!

 

FYI...I used to work in Oak Park, and there is no Hooters restaurant there. There is one in Orland Park (I know splitting hairs), and as for strip clubs in Oak Park....if there were any, I don't remember them.

 

yeah, Oak Park is a definite no no for Hooters.

Orland Park has one, so does Oak Lawn (95th and Cicero). Those burbs are on the Southwest Side.

As for the strip clubs, you'd have to go down to South Suburbs near Indiana border. I don't know of any on SW side. There's a couple (including a Scores) in western burbs off Mannheim (plenty of signs for these places along TriState Tollway - I294).

 

i am going in saturday. staying at the W Lakeshore. still working on tickets...but something will shake loose in the next day or so.

 

Im flying in Fri morning, staying in Schaumburg. My girlfriend and my son will be with me, so count me out of the strip clubs.. lol. But maybe I will see some of you at the game, Im sitting in section 111 (have I said how much I like ticketmaster?). Ill be the guy holding up the NC licence plate from my old truck "DaBears1". Im hard to miss anyway at 6'4" 235.

Must be Oak Lawn then...I was drunk when we last discussed it...he was even drunker. He was probably talking out his ass about the strip clubs knowing full well I wouldn't be all that geeked about going.
Any good bars near that Hooters? Not looking for "Da Club" type atmosphere, something more of a sports bar or maybe a 30+ crowd. How about a Penn State or Michigan State based bar, I know Chitown has alot of those "specialty" clubs...just don't know where they are.
There is a place called the Hawkeye Club that a buddy of mine used to frequent when he lived there. Bunch of Iowa grads...too trendy/yupped up a crowd the one time I went there and I have NO CLUE where it is located.
