It was a misread. Happens. Didn't see the safety come down, reciever read single coverage correctly and adjusted the route. Donovan didn't and went with the 2 deep read.

The Bledsoe pick was dumber. He knew he was in trouble, should have just ate it since he didn't see Witten open early enough. He had a couple of other late throws he got away with. Sometimes its better to be lucky than good.

Yep....the Bledsoe pick was the worse of the two.

BTW....Philly is 0-3 in the NFC East. I'm bettin' the last time the Iggles were 0-3 in the divi was six years ago, Reid's (and McNabb's) rookie year.

I don't see this team diggin' out of it. I wouldn't say a wildcard is out of the question, but Dallas seems to have all the momentum right now. Going to be a great race.

    ......in fact.....

Last time the Eagles were 0-3 in the division? 1986. That's a long damn time, boys and girls. They weren't ever 0-3 in the Kotite era, nor the Rhodes era. Reid has never been 0-3 in the division.....until this morning.

Every QB throws bonehead interceptions. It happens all the time. I've seen Panther fans who act like Delhomme is the only guy who ever threw a bad pass. It's kind of goofy, honestly.

McNabb had his tonight. Manning had his yesterday, as did other QBs. It happens.

The iggles are done, imo. Mcribb is done (for this year), and I would bet he doesn't last the season and gets surgery, especially at the first site of being out of contention (which for me is after last night). The dude's walking wounded and it'll get worse with every game.

I was hoping (gasp) philly would have won because to me, dallas is a scarier team with an easier schedule from here on out. We must beat them, imo- it very well could make a difference in some home field, or even wildcard.

Of course it starts with Chic this week.

Also, Bledsoe has bigger cinderblocks tied to his feet than B-line.

I can't believe they came back and won.

And the media darling soup dood with a hole in his gullet had a Jake fukup moment. I guess they all do sometimes. Some just do it less.
It didn't help Mcribb that all filly does is pass either, tho they ran some last night- they shoulda kept running at the end.

I don't think anyone has ever denied that most QBs have them on occasion, the complaint about Delhomme is that he seems to have them every other game.

And as for Bledsoe vs. McNabb, I still think Donovan's was a lot worse. Bledsoe's chuck was stupid, but it was just an unthinking reaction that probably shouldn't have been caught except for a nice play by the defender. With McNabb, I have no idea how he couldn't see Williams coming down into the box. He wasn't completely stationary, but he was already rolled up at the snap and McNabb was staring at that space the whole time. Given the situation the Eagles were in, McNabb had to be a lot more intelligent than that. He essentially gave the game away.

It's interesting the destruction TO leaves in his wake. See San Fran.

This loss gave the TO supporters in the locker room ammo. NO way this didn't divide the team. TO would've caught Brown's ball.

41 games as a starter for Carolina. 41 interceptions thrown. So yep!

He is so far a career 86 rated passer in Carolina and has improved each season. He may very well never be the next Unitas, Starr or Favre. But given our history with QB (even ol #7) he is the top of the lot in our short history. He generally gets it done when it has to be done, and I like that quality...
