    Panthers | Delhomme Injury Update

    Carolina Panthers QB Jake Delhomme (head) should be able to return to action following the team's Bye Week in Week 7. Head coach John Fox has said Delhomme was shaken up during Week 6, but would not say if he suffered a concussion. Fox also said Delhomme's starting job is safe despite his struggling during Week 6 before leaving with an injury.

    Carolina Panthers LB Dan Morgan (shoulder) suffered a dislocated shoulder during Week 6. Head coach John Fox said the team's medical staff is still evaluating Morgan's status and are considering different rehabilitation options. The Panthers have a Bye during Week 7.

    Nothing unexpected.

    Dan will have to toughen up and play with a harness. Once a shoulder goes, it goes. Only surgery can correct it.

    The dislocated shoulder and broken hand are both more serious than what I had hoped for.

    Fox did say Pepp will play with the cast....he did come back, so i dont know if it limited him terribly....obviously no fun, but still he went.

    I'm guessing the broken hand will keep Peppers out of the goalline offense for a while. Shame, I was hoping to see him score. Also, I was glad Wallace was in on that TD saving tackle as I'm pretty sure Pep would have had trouble holding on with a thumb and index finger. What is the heal time on a broken hand?
