DeShaun would have been a better fit for Green's Minnesota offense, but they don't have the same blockers in Arizona. As we saw in our game, they are slow and lumbering, allowing fairly consistent penetration and not opening many holes. Foster would probably struggle in such a scenario, but they may throw money at him anyway. Seattle actually seems like a strong possibility, as I do think Alexander will be moving on.

    Think a little, Mr. Foster

If Deshaun is truly contemplating a West Coast move, he may not have considered the state of Mr. Davis, who no matter how strong is on his last legs at 31. Next season Davis will only be a part-timer, or goal-line stalwart, whereas Foster can command a huge salary because of his ability to play in space. He WOULD be the featured back, along with Davis and, presumably, Shelton on short yardage. Hang on, Foster, your time is nearly here -- if the knee and the outstanding speed hold up! He is among the handful of NFL backs who can turn a short hitch or screen into a 50-yarder, as he already has done twice this year.

It isn't about the money; he just doesn't like it here.

But there will be a great opportunity here. He shouldn't (though he may well) disregard that if he wants to show out as a top back.

From the way Davis has been running, he's gonna need a lot of help.

Really hate hearing that about Foster.

I still don't get why players who are going to be inactive that week "stay behind". I mean, I don't expect the practice squad and the IR'd players to stay behind, but you'd figure a starting-level player when healthy, could add some amount of benefit to the game when not healthy.

I think the travel would set them back, healing wise. Some of the inactives go, don't they?
