TBR accepts .txt messages, and I have a lengthy dissertation that I'd like to post in R&R. However, instead of the actual text getting posted, it posted as a .txt attachment, that opens to a download, which you have to download before reading, actually it popped up pretty quick for a download(?).
    My questions:
How does this work?[Does the text upload to TBR, then is linked to the thread, or is it linked directly to the text on my computer? And, if so, if I delete it from my 'puter, will TBR thread's link be deleted also; and can hackers get to my 'puter via the link?
Is it going to screw up TBR in anyway?

To put it another way: Does the .txt link in the thread link to TBR or to my computer?

BTW, I tried to reformat, to no avail.

    Thanks in advance.

You can't just copy and paste it?

I'll try that. But for some reason I didn't think that'd work because it's a large file[6.51 KB]. I tried to paste it in Paint(to reformat)and couldn't. And I couldn't resize to acceptable proportions in IrFanView(to reformat).

Don't have time right now, maybe tomorrow's AM. [I wanted to post it early in the morning.]

I think there's a character limit for individual posts, so you may have to split it.

Then, of course, no one will read it 'cause it's too long. :D

For a test I copied/pasted it in TBR Hall of Fame, then going to delete it. Anyhow, it disappeared! I've searched 'bout all the forums, it's nowhere... I was told via the usual dialog that it'd posted, went there, it's gone, posted it again, dialog stated it was a duplicate, etc. It's still not there!

Let me state this now, for the record: You are a moron.

You have a text file, and you're trying to paste it into MSPaint and Ifran to somehow make it easier to post in a forum?
You are surprised that a 6k file downloads fast?
You want to make a HUGE post to a forum at all?
You are posting about reparations, using a text file instead of a link (demonstrating you have stored this on your machine, indicating it's very likely matching your beliefs), and are concerned about appearing racist because it went into Hall of Fame?
And instead of just keeping it quiet, you post in ANOTHER forum about the contents and scenario?

    Thanks for listening.
