so you buy john lennon's son's albums? Just because this guy has the same last name doesn't mean anything. He wasn't that great at miami, which is why he didn't play much...

    Third carry...9 yards!

Fuck off if you think this kid doesn't have the talent to play in the NFL.

    I think he has NFL-ish talent. I think he's a good story.

But I don't know if he's anything special.

No nothing special, not a guy you can build an offense around at this point. However, he's a solid straight ahead runner. If he can develop a little jiggle he'd become a nice complimentary back, maybe a feature back in the right offense.
I've even thought of him FB possibility. Decent blocker and short yardage runner.

Being a former life-long Bear fan (if that makes sense) and his father being my all-time favorite NFL player and one of my favorite people period, I am just happy to see Jarret continue to work his way up. It's a great story and an inspiration to "average athletes" everywhere.

well the NFL.com play by play is still updating, but some common sense could question whether or not Indy was even looking to defend the run this late in a blow out, when the titans should have been passing.

I didn't mean to insult a player you like, it's just that running like this in a blowout could be done by a bunch of RB's.

Final stats: 4 carries, 37 yards.

Still good to see a Payton with No. 34 on his back.

EDIT: I wish had had 34. he had bee wearing No. 4 and apparently wore 33 (Calvin Thomas!).

Though the yardage defense doesn't show it, the Indy D is impressive. 26 points in 4 games.

Bob Sanders reminds me of Minter a lot. A big hitter, sure tackler, kind of small. But he had recievers bracing.

How about Hank Williams, Jr, Lisa Marie Presley, Jacob Dylan, Nelson, Wilson Phillips, Shooter Jennings, Rosanne Cash, Enrique Iglesias records. They have all had some measure of success. Ok maybe Nelson was a reach....
