I will find out more details today when I go by there. All I know at this point is that it is 26 PC on a windows platform at two different locations. The person I was talking with didn't know much about computers, so I am going out there today.

They couldn't even tell me what any of the problems were. :banned:

Well they are running 2003 server, 26 pc's at two different locations for now. They also have an exchange server, gotta get upto speed fast on these two things. Any good links Math or anybody else?

The other servers they use, I have access to call in vendors for. They are using Avaya phone systems, but have a local company for that.

That's too much for this forum. When you have something specific, come on back.

Just go to microsoft.com/windowsserver2003 or microsoft.com/exchange for the product intro docs and links to more detailed stuff.

Thanks, found the guided tour downloads on their site for both. Just wanted to see what the changes were from 2000 to 2003. Also had never worked with exchange before, so that one will give me the basic layout. Going to check out barnes and noble for book on exchange for reference.

Thanks again. And if you happen to find any good links outside of microsoft that would be great.

depends what you need. you won't get better docs than on MSFT.com, especially digging into Technet and the communities. Once you get into specific issues (Outlook client stuff connecting with Exchange), there are specialty sites that are great (slipstick.com).
