We should be able to clog up their run game. Their O line still hasn't been solved, and Brown is averaging less than 3 yards a carry. We've already stopped two better backs with better lines.

Ferrotte seems to be using McMichael a lot, who seems to have lost a little weight. So we've got to focus on the TE again, they'll be targetting that.

Their recievers aren't the quickest, but Booker still has some speed despite the injuries.

We need, and should get, good pressure on them and force turnovers.

Thier defense is lead by aging stars, but still productive. Thomas, Kevin Carter, Seau, Holliday. Weakside rookie Channing Crowder starts at weakside linebacker.

And yeah, Howard starts for them.

The Jets didn't have a lot of success running the ball, but were able to control the ball.

This shouldn't be a reason for us to lose but Miami's field is still used for baseball along with football. That may come into play when it comes to placing the ball on the ground for kickers. And it could definitely come more into play if there was to be a little rain.

Do you think Taylor is that much better than Grant?

How does stopping their offense equate to the Panthers scoring against their defense?

    Agreed. That's not a worry.

Not to mention, we're actually doing things defensively to disrupt now, and I don't think that line is
New Orleans used frighteningly little of their two TEs, except at the goal. Faulk did have success on us a couple plays, so that needs to be resolved.

Chambers is carrying a horridly low ypc. I do worry about some size matchups v/s Manning, who'll get picked on anyway. Against a blitz like last week's, I'd spread the formation if I were Miami, anyway.

It's an okay front four, if creeky. A couple years ago, Carter, Holliday, Traylor, and Taylor would be a dream, to some. Only one we'll really have trouble with here is Taylor, who now has tape on how McGinest got pressure on Wharton. Carter might bullrush Gross enough to cause concern.

Gotta get some TE action behind all this, because there'll be holes.
