Pcon, you should have seen the talent at that show. There was a lot more off stage than on (no offense to the band).

Thanks for the review, ya'll. I had to work and couldn't make it. Since I'm single now, I really should start making it to these summer shows where their is an ungodly amount of ass.

I shoulda gone. I've never been to a concert that's not Widespread Panic, Phish, Allmans, The Dead.

I'm curious to see how bands like Coldplay compare. Are they coming back anytime?

    so much hate.

i saw them in cleveland in 2k3 and i thought it was great. but the band seemed so into it this time around and very comfortable. and the outro from square one into the intro to politik? dude... sick..

word is that coldplay is going to start recording their 4th album in 2k6- lot more guitar and more "power"- according to chris martin.

That's the exact reason half of us guys went, dumbass.

If you wake up in this bad of a mood, god I'd hate to see you when your wife tells you "I have a headache." What a fucking joy you are pal.

I wouldnt have spent the $100 or whatever if I hated them LJ. I just dont like it when bands trade in substance for style.

Good. This is what they need. Songs with some meat and less glitz. And while I appreciate Chris' admission that he's a crappy lyricist, he could at least try. He's written a couple of decent lines here and there. He's got it in him.

I guess the hate comments started back when I said Doves > Coldplay. Sorry about that, but the truth is, the last paragraph is why they're a better Brit pop/rock band. Coldplay is too homogenized and slicked up. Truth be told, Im worried Doves are headed that way too. It makes them radio playable.

Do you have old copies of Shiver acoustic, or even another simplistic lyrics gem - Bigger, Stronger, Faster? Prefer that era Coldplay to now.
