It just does. And I'm still using TiVo for TV. Pictures, Music, Videos, DVD, etc. through this interface on a big screen and real speakers are just awesome.

I mentioned Media Center, you asked if there is a site :).

If you want my hardware, it's home-built. Passive cooling on everything possible, quiet components on the rest: Northbridge and 6600GT Video are passive, CPU running a Zalman 7700, Seasonic s12-430 power supply. I've got a minor vibration noise from the 7700 that I need to open up and fix, but otherwise this sucker is silent, and that's goodness.

The key to a media center machine, regardless of the front-end used (MythTV, BeyondTV, Media Center, etc.), is QUIET. You can't have a noisy box sitting in your living room running all day and night.

The Medion, for example, is pretty much a normal box, which means it has loud fans and traditional styling, not good for putting in an A/V rack, etc. But the last I saw that was a year ago, might be updated now.

I'm not into pics sans boobies, but you can check other threads on similar builds at HTPCnews.com:
http://htpcnews.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15946&st=0 on the first page has some pics of the case with someone using the same Zalman CPU cooler (it's MASSIVE).
