    he's been trashing the promotions department onair and the uptownnies lately. Is he trying to pull a Terrell Owens?

    doubt it. friend of mine works sales at WFNZ. says Packer runs that station. 500 lb. gorilla there

    They probably don't think the 9 volt battery that drives that piss signal is worth what they are asking for in advertising spots

    did anyone see TV coverage of NASCAR visit?

    The video I saw on Channel 9 and Channel 3 were a stark contrast of what Pack and the young lady from the 103.7 were describing. There had to be hundreds from the video, and they didn't appear to be homeless men either.

    i saw it. i also heard packs description of it on prime time earlier. he was way off base.

    The newspaper, the Independent Tribune in Concord, trashed the effort saying they didn't even come to Cabarrus County, the speedway or the race shops, but they ignored the fact that Rick Hendrick took them on the helicopter ride.

    The lady from 103.7 was down around 6th and Tryon and there was a small crowd around that intersection. I was at 7th and Tryon for about 25 minutes and there was about 80-90 people there. I did see about 10 people that looked to be homeless carrying their yellow tshirts past us. The news footage that I saw seemed to show a decent sized crowd around the convention center. Packer took one part of the story and really played it up.
