    Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) provides the latest updates to Microsoft Office XP. SP3 contains significant security enhancements, as well as stability and performance improvements. This service pack applies to any level of Office XP. It contains all updates included in SP1 and SP2, in addition to updates released after SP2. SP3 applies to the following Office XP products: Word 2002, Excel 2002, Outlook 2002, PowerPoint 2002, Access 2002, FrontPage 2002, Publisher 2002, and Office XP Web Components

    Thanks guys, but none of these worked. I ended up doing a system restore back to last Tuesday. EXCEL works just fine now.

    Why do you need SP3? I'm on auto updates & Windows hasn't even told me about it.

    Yeah, and automatic updates won't update Office unless you've upgraded to Microsoft Update, which I also recommend.

    If I knew I had the same version of Office XP I'd send you the disks. Problem is I've learned there are multiple versions of Office XP Pro... which to me makes no sense. You make Pro... you make them all the same. If its different you call it something else.

    I hide that update, so i shouldn't have to worry about it. Never dawned on me to do a system restore back to last week before i did the download. The version i have is Office xp w/frontpage

    Now get rid of all the viruses and spyware on your PC and turn off System Restore. You probably won't need it anymore. [​IMG]
