Luckily, I didn't have to hear much of Williams/Beuerlein.

I liked Mixon, despite his Yankeeness, on the way home from the dive we met friends at...he's not bad. It's a good trio. Still miss Rosinski from the last decade, but I've heard Mixon just as long, and he's a good play by play guy. I'll live with it.

Mixon's best quote was on Robertson's long run:

    "Robertson...Bucking! RUNNING! RIPPING! SNORTING!!!"

I didn't listen to him tonight but it is going to be double weird for me. BTW, I never thought he was as good at doing football as he was at b-ball.

Not a fair statement for Mixon. After the season might be time to ask the question of how he did.

On a related note, Williams/Beuerlein were horrible imo. Of course, it's way too early to judge long term.

Gary Williams is a nasaly little boy.

Seriously, when does he hit puberty? Soon, right?

IMO Beuerlein wasn't that bad doing color... Gary Williams at PBP is a whole other story.

I like a guy like B-line in that role, I like hearing the little inside stories from the "in house" perspective.
