I don't abuse people. Only recent example was right before you chimed in on the mid-March Branch discussion, and I was lambasting MoBigBo for saying things like "Branch had Clayton covered like white on rice" and then quoting that Branch "had more defended passes than any other safety", or something else ridiculous like that, and then amended it to say he'd had more PD than anyone else per target. I asked him to show me that stat, and he didn't. So I made fun of him. The idea that I'm never a pain in the ass? No. But do I try to be an overbearing, pissy, self-absorbed, "I'm gonna take it personal that you don't agree" little bitch like you? No. I still, generally, try to give an amount of respect to people that I deal with, and unless I'm fucking around with them, I give that respect.

I do tremendously enjoy when you get so mired in the semantics of your own aimless ideas. BTW, sure. Davis at SLB isn't a perfect idea, and I've never even bothered saying it was heavy in convention. However, the Craig thing is fucking silly, and you know it. This might be on the level of someone saying "hey, let's run the 3-4 instead." Actually, it has no actual parallel, but I do realize that you were using the Craig thing to be a little prick about it.

he's not a perfect fit anywhere. He's a decent fit at a number of positions. Yes, automatically saying that he "can't do this" isn't right, in my opinion. I'd much rather think of the possibilities of a limitless player than automatically limit him based on the old conventions of players that are less than he is. Of course, convention would've never put Witherspoon at MLB, and there he was. Convention would've never had Fox push Minter to FS. I don't know everything that's possible in this league, and I tend to think of those possibilities rather than limiting them.

 

I could see you equating "opinion" and "bullshit stat" as equals for purposes to serve yourself.

 

We have already had this discussion way back, so I am not going to pull out your text where you attacked my statements WAY before I made any statement about pass defended. Not to mention the fact you ignore any credible points I brought to the argument. Collin actually brought evidence of pass ratio to each player and you still ignore the facts.

 

You were outright bullshitting me with that stat. There's no denying that. If someone wants to think Branch is good, so be it. I won't outright attack that. But you brought more than your share of shit to that talk, so yeah, you were full of shit. You had no stat, you have no stat. You took a couple posts to even get your story straight on what stat you were pretending to quote.



Collin might not like what I think about Davis. I think he's thrown enough tantrums to show that. But I'm not making shit up here.

 

I tried to defend Branch because I thought he got way too much criticism then he deserved. And since my opinion did not agree with you or anybody else on the board I was attacked. You attacked me first in the thread, I already showed you a quote way back when you did. And yea I brought the heat right back at you and you still have to chime in on the PD stat because that is all you can bring to the argument. Forget all of the other points I made in the argument before then. Its not like you make up stats to support your argument, is it? Oh yea thats right, you tried to switch Claytons stats and games to conform to your opinion in one of the threads.

 

Actually, I agreed that Branch took too much heat. Was he "white on rice", nah. But that's an old discussion - very old. What's said has been said.

You got attacked for saying silly things like "Branch covered Clayton like white on rice." I shouldn't have come after you hard, but you were more than willing to play the game.

I did make a mistake on Clayton's stats. I got two games confused, and owned up to it. You quoted a bullshit stat that was wrong, and then you quoted another one that I still haven't seen you actually produce.

I applaud you for having vehemently defended Branch, sure. I did think you were wrong, and guess what? The team brought in four safeties, and it wasn't to replace Minter.

 

It was a joke. I stole it from Major Payne for god's sake. I thought he did a decent job on clayton. But yea I do remember you agreeing with me on this subject, we were in the minority.
