Packman has been getting on my nerves alot lately, can't listen anymore, especially when Kilgo is on.

Sidenote, during Rozinskis show just now they had this guitar riff playing over and over again in the background, even during commercials.....doesn't anyone in the studio listen to what is going out to the airwaves? It finally stopped about 5 min ago.

    HP...

My guess the music you heard was coming from the WFNZ studio. Bill's show is produced in the Danny Fontana Show studios uptown. WFNZ gets its feed off Satellite and runs it through their automation system.

I would be willing to bet someone in the WFNZ studio was listening to the music in 'cue' as it is called and didn't know it was on the air.

I heard something similar on WFNA (1660) yesterday. I could hear the sports update from Metro being recorded while ESPN Radio was on the air...

I'm glad I'm not the only one

It's really embarassing to find out something like is going on. I had a telephone interface open one time when I was board op for a ballgame. Someone called the studio and told me they could hear the whole conversation we were having.
