    With WBT getting the Panthers again and his wife being from here, It would give him a reason to come back home finally . . THE GERRY V SHOW returns in September . . Watch, its going to happen !!!!!

    I don't see that happening. Where would he go? WBT has all but said they are not going to change their weekday lineup. John Hancock's show makes lots of money, they aren't going to mess with that.

    Remember the announcers for the Panthers broadcasts work for the team not the station. It looks to me like the team has all the broadcasters it needs.

    I understand the Bobcats are very happy with their broadcast teams so there's no room for him there.

    Why would Gerry leave a daily talkshow in NOLA and his Hornet's radio color job to come back here.

    I think you are wrong about Gerry's wife. The lady Gerry married from Charlotte didn't care for the Crescent City so she moved back here. From what I have heard Gerry is currently unattached...

    I met his wife a while back right before they got married and she said they were really hoping that he would get a job back here. I didn't want to tell her that I really hope he didn't get a job back here.

    No kidding, but honestly, I'd give it another chance after dealing with the alternative in local programming the last few years.

    Gerry V was a little more objective when the Fox had the Panthers. When WBT had the Panthers and the Hornets, he was such a homer that I wanted to puke. any caller that said anything semi bad about either got some "Im right, your wrong, PAL! "and hung up on. especially the Hornets. he stuck up for Shinn every step of the way. and always had a knack of breaking a player apart (either team) after thay were traded away or left in FA. I say stay in NOLA.

    No kidding. I followed that guy since his channel 18 sunday night call-in show. Sometimes you can't go home Gerry V. Stay in NO. We don't want or need you anymore.
