The owner of the Eagles said that Owens is only hurting himself. He said that the Eagles will not rework the deal and that Owens is getting extremely bad advice. He is on a trip with with other owners and he said that they are becoming very concerned about agents like the one TO has.

All I can say is the Iggles are getting what they deserve with TO. When they picked him up they knew he was a cancer, or would be at some point. However I am enjoying this and hope to see them implode this season, couldnt happen to a better city. (see sig line)

I hope this drags out all year. I would not want TO on my team. He is a great player but not great enough to be worth it.

after the SB, I said I would take TO for the way he showed how much heart he has, the character he has for coming back against doctors orders to play and help his team...he was arguably one of the best players on the field in that game.

I retract every kind word I said about him..He sucked me into his web, and now he turns out to be his old self. I ain't feelin bad for Philly about it, but the teammates that went to battle with this guy oughta just write him off, the club should do the same--he wants to sit out--sit out. No contract is guaranteed, especially if you dont show up to work.

He'll just show up after week 10 at that point so he'll be in line to get the bulk of his yearly salary.

I don't believe he came back for the SB for his team, I think he came back for himself- and the fact he thought they really couldn't win without him. When in fact, they couldn't win with him either.

Lurie even said he could understand if it was the last year in a deal , but not the second. I enjoy watching TO play and I am often amused by his jackass antics, but thats absurd that he would hold out. only difference between him and Randy Mosss is that TO keeps his nose clean and stays out of real trouble....still glad its the iggles and I hope it lingers well into the season.

I agree. It was impressive how he played through the injury, but I was turned off again when he started with that whole "Well if it was Favre you guys would be praising him" BS.
