One of the most exciting big-play artists in Ohio Valley Conference annals, Hill holds several OVC records, including most touchdown catches and most receptions in a season.

He is a smart, quick and darting open field runner who thrived in his role as the team's go-to target. Despite his slight frame, he never missed a game due to injuries. He also proved how tough he was in 2003, playing the entire season with a hairline fracture on the left side of his pelvis.

Hill was a consensus All-American selection and finalist for the Walter Payton Award (nation's top division 1-AA player) in 2003. He earned Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors as he led the nation with an average of 126.09 yards per game receiving. He set an OVC season-record with 92 receptions and a school record with 1387 yards that year. He also broke the OVC record with 15 touchdown grabs. In addition, he threw for a 79-yard score, returned 21 punts for 209 yards (10.0 avg), had three kickoff returns for 92 yards and blocked two kicks on special teams.

Hill again earned All-American and All-OVC honors in 2004. He led the conference with 984 yards receiving and paced the team with 71 receptions (13.9 avg) and ten scores. In 41 games with the Bulldogs, Hill started 26 times. He closed out his career as the school's all time leader with 214 receptions for 3054 yards (14.3 avg) and 31 touchdowns. His 31 scoring grabs tied the OVC career-record, first set by Harold Roberts of Austin Peay State (1967-70). He completed one of two passes for a 79-yard score, blocked two kicks, gained 194 yards on six kickoff returns (32.3 avg) and 259 yards on 27 punt returns (9.6 avg).

    ANALYSIS

Positives...Has a tall, rangy frame with room for additional growth and in years past, when he played in the 187-190 range, there was no loss in quickness...Smooth open field runner with a normal stride that is more quicker than fast...Does not show any wasted movement in his release and getting into his route...Has the body control to adjust and makes plays on the ball in the air...Plays with great effort and shows great toughness going for the pass over the middle...Not afraid to sell out and compete for the ball down field...Has adequate strength, but will give good effort to gain position blocking...Shows enough hip wiggle to make the initial tackler miss...Looks natural going up for the ball and has the hands to extend and pluck the ball outside his frame...Shows very good concentration on the ballin flight and is aware of the chains and sidelines...Works back for the ball well and uses his hands and body to shade the ball from the defenders...Makes good adjustments on the move and shows the up field cutting ability to separate after the catch...Able to eat up the cushion as he builds to top speed.

Negatives...Has a slight frame and failed to regain the weight that he lost after suffering a pelvic fracture in 2003...Needs to built up to top speed and is not the type that will win many foot races in the open, relying on moves to separate...Has some stiffness in his hip still from the injury and tends to shuffle his feet when working on short routes...Needs to set up his routes in order to gain yardage after the catching, lacking the second gear to take the ball to the house otherwise...Willing blocker, but lacks strength upon contact.

Wonderlic doesn't really gauge intelligence. It gauges the ability to quickly process knowledge. You can be smart but learn at a different pace than others.
