I was definitely hoping for a wide out, but there seemed to be a bit of a run on them so the value got sapped away pretty quick.

Agreed! We are one injury away from total disaster at the WR position if Smith comes back totally healthy. If Freddie can do at TE what he has in the past this will go a long way in helping. Although I really want a Gates type player there in the future.

I like a lot of what we did in the draft, this year I think so far we have had the best offseason/draft moves that we ever had. We have fewer holes at this point going into the season than years past.

I gave it a B plus. I am not sure if Davis was the right pick. We may wish we had went with Derrick Johnson instead. Davis should be a good player though. I think we should have drafted a wideout somewhere who can atleast return punts.

I loved the Shelton pick and I think he is our future at running back. Mathis is also a nice pick and may start right away.

Our team looks great heading into the season other than some shaky depth at wide out.
