So I guess the Panthers are ok with 2 good receivers?

Smith and Colbert and a player in Phroel that had to be talked out of retirement?

Not drafting a WR is scaring me. Do they have something else in mind, free agent WR? Someone please enlighten me

I'm thinkning the same. wE ACTUALLY HAVE 3 GOOD RECEVIERS. But yeah.

I'm thinkning that Colbert was drafted to let Moose go. and then Moose played real well.

    But it's puzzling.

If we weren't going to draft a real good one (1st 2 rounds), I'm not sure I'd do it. We still have some projects. (Carter)

We'll sign someone for depth purposes, but we've actually never carried that many on our roster.

All the active roster spots are full with Smitty, Colbert, Proehl, and Hankton.

Remember how Colbert was inactive against GB?

    BUt we still need depth.

When the team signed Freddie Jones, I said I was pretty certain that they wouldn't take a receiver in the early rounds. I still thought they would take one on day two, but that didn't happen either. I'm sure we'll see a couple undrafted receivers. Might still get Josh Davis or J.R. Russell if no one drafts them.

Maybe Carter is doing really well in his rehab.

there are going to be a lot of WR's available between now and 53-roster limit day...and that's pretty much all we need, is a little more WR depth, big difference from years past

I went to Marshall, so I watch most of their games on satellite. I would love to see him here, very good and fearless across the middle. Stan Hill has been a mediocre QB or else he would have put up better numbers.
