I like this pick. We need to find a better backup for Jake and a guy who might take over one day. It is nice to see us plan for the future instead of providing a retirement plan for Peete.

    Back to some seriousness, now

I pulled this from Charlotte.com. He's related to Jake:

LeFors, listed at 6-0, 201, hails from Baton Rouge, La. He joins Breaux Bridge, La., native Jake Delhomme, the club's starter, in the quarterback lineup.

"I just met him this past Easter," LeFors said. "I just went to his house down in Breaux Bridge. Because of my wife, somehow we're related through marriage. It's wild. It was great meeting him. He's a great guy.

"Leaving his house, my wife and I said, 'It would be great to go there just because of him.' Sure enough, that's what happened."

Though LeFors says he's not a Cajun like Delhomme -- "No, I'm not 'as bad' as him. I'm from the city. He's out there by the bayou." -- they do share some down-home tastes.

I'm not sure I like this pick..
His QB rating was only 181.7 last year.
