During the thread in question I made clear that the tackle comment was more an indictment against the three top OTs than an endorsement of Brown playing there. That might be unfair to Barron, but I still say that if I were forced to pick one I'd play Elton at RT over Jammal.

Hah, I just saw that he was an Anthropology major. Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that - my favoritism looks suspicious now...

I wouldn't say you're an idiot or a moron, but you are an arrogant, pretentious bastard who loves to incite arguments, and very rarely accepts any points as valid unless they are your own.

and I still disagree. His workout stats show that he's not well suited for it, his feet aren't good enough for tackle.
His inconsistent effort just outright won't work at all at OT. Unless you just outright hate Jammal Brown, calling him a better tackle would seem questionable, and I can't get down with that.

I'll take my chances on being right over your chances of being liked anyday. Can you even get 3 people to stand up and say they like you here?

Yeah, I wasn't expecting you to agree and certainly wasn't even attempting to get you to do so. It was an off the cuff remark. But I think you're 100% wrong on Brown giving inconsistent effort. I won't disagree about his feet, but if you've watched him play as many games as I have, you wouldn't have a single question about his effort. Elton loves hitting people.

Not the most ringing endorsements, I'll grant, but I didn't want to take the time to go through all the threads and find the three most positive statements. There were some, but I've forgotten where they were.

Cattrax: "Damn Collin, sounds like you're being nice. Kool. I for one have thought your posts are full of substance (whether I agree or not). Welcome back."

magnus: "agreed. And I think he's a decent guy who I feel philosophically different from, and that's fine when he's not telling me I'm in love with things."

LarryD (this was years before I even knew about this place): " collin's ok when he's taking his medication, but too often he fails to do that."

I'm quite certain that you've got the top three right there.

I like Collin. I'm just wondering why the thread had to go this way. It was an enjoyable thread before.

Collin brings valid points to the argument and I like to read them. You may not like the way he says it sometimes and I can agree with that, but it seems like Collin is getting unfair treatment from past events. Even when he seems to be making attempt not to attack anybody unprovoked this time around.

Hey, I appreciate it, but at the same time it's understandable when people hold things against me. I agreed that I earned it. Anyway, even I find myself less interesting than the draft, so how about we talk football?
