I don't know what that site is, but every other one on the planet including NFL.com has Williamson's combine 40 at 4.38.

The smoother they are, the harder a move, juke, fake whatever you want to call it is to detect. According to these guys Williamson has better numbers. I'd still take Clayton though.

NFL.com usually lists the lowest time if a player registers several. I think the discrepancy may be that in addition to the electronic timer, scouts also hand-time guys. So some scout may have timed Williamson at 4.32 and 4.31, but the machine had his best time at 4.38.

Hell I don't know..I just copied and pasted the chit. Maybe we need to check the kid from Arkansas out.
It's the only Williamson in the WR class I could find at that link.

Jones is clearly the best athlete in this draft. Don't know whether that will translate to productivity as a WR though.

If no clear-cut best player is available, do you take "clearly the best athlete"? I think merit exists in this line of thinking.

I just don't know. I'm a big fan of college productivity over workout warriors. It's a risk because there's no way of knowing if he'll live up to the hype or bust. At least his senior bowl week gives a little to go on. He looked a little clumsy at times, but seems to have great hands. I think he'll be one of the most productive guys to come out of this draft in a few years, but if I'm the guy who's gonna get fired for having a bad draft, I don't know that I could pull the trigger that early.

Ive seen it 4.32 everywhere Ive read it. If it were 4.38, he would not be getting the attention he's getting. That's nice, but it isnt amazing. 4.32 is. Every WRs story Ive read, in the evaluation, has Williamson substanitally faster than Clayton.
