The outlook was bleak when we heard about it. At least that was what alot of people with experience in cancer said. Then he appeared to be beating the long odds. Maybe not. At least he's gotten some enjoyment out of parts of his struggle. I'm praying this is not true, and if it is, that he still turns it around. If not, then I pray he goes peacefully.

    Indeed. :(

I remember reading a report about him last year that wasn't too optimistic, and I remember thinking he could be gone by the end of the year. Still, his fight has been one of the most admirable and awe-inspiring human efforts I've ever seen. The man is a legend.

Agreed. How the hell could you honor a man who already has a statue though? I hope the team would do something like a Sam Mills Foundation or something and use the money to provide a scholarship for an aspiring med. student every year. Or something along those lines.

Anther thing that they can do.Name day of the year a day where everyone get tested for Colon Cancer .Because if an an NFL coach can get Colon Cancer then anyone can.Even this with a lower risk.also for every home game and in store in NC and SC sell is jersey and the money from is jersey sell. will go to local Charity such as the Salvation Army of charlotte or Other local charity

Dukie your not always coherent, but thats a pretty good idea. For every Mills jersey sold the proceeds should go to a cancer foundation.

This is absolutely terrible if true, and especially to have it happen on top of the other stuff, man just a big ole kick in the nuts for Panther fans. Keeping my fingers crossed that this was just something misheard or misunderstood.

Its a good idea, but he doesnt have colon cancer. Its cancer of the small intestine. Big difference. It may not seem like it, but apparently the 2 cancers act in very different ways. Maybe a general test for various types of cancer. The type you're most at risk for.
