CityFest Live Canceled For 2005

    I was trying to find out who was playing year. Looks like no one. Way to be a minor league city.

    Charlotte, NC -- Eyewitness News has learned that a popular music festival in Uptown Charlotte will not be held this year.

    CityFest Live drew thousands of people into the Center City for almost 10 years.


    It was held every May in First Ward.

    The organizer says he is focusing on developing land in Fourth Ward, which is why the festival is canceled for this year.

    He hopes to bring it back in 2006.

    I was looking at the lineup from last year and it was very lame. still sucks its cancelled.

    vowed to never go again a few years ago...when they had us fenced in a gravel pit. used to be fun when it was uptown around the bars and in parking lots. fuckem. :lalala:

    It went downhill every year since I stopped going. I single handedly destroyed the Weenie Roast as well.
