    Not true. There are two flavors of Buy it Now:

    • Listings that have a bid price and a Buy It Now price - buyers can place a bid or purchase the item immediately.
    • Listings that have a Buy It Now price only (no bidding) - buyers can purchase an item instantly.

    Personally, I don't care if I get $1200. I would be happy with $999. The more I do get, the less of my tax return I will have to spend on the new digital camera. There are 7 watchers now. If they were waiting till the end to bid the original $1195, they can now just buy it now, or take the risk of someone else grabbing it for less in the end.

    I just want ONE bid on it. One REAL bid from someone who will pay for it. Not like the last time I had it on Ebay and it got up to $1100. I never got the money.

    Film cameras are going away and prices for used ones are extremely low. Just look at the details of my auction with the original purchase prices and current new prices compared. Then consider the camera body alone goes for $600 at MOST on ebay. I paid twice that 4 years ago.

    I will be very lucky if it sells at all.

    I would probably have better luck selling my $800 Sony Power Cinema VCR / AV Receiver for $100. :thud:

    I saw where the asshole asked you for a camera bag also! Jeez, you'd think with you basically giving the stuff away... the cheap shit would spring for his own bag!
