    The season starts Aug. 6 with the Falcons playing the Colts in "The American Bowl" in Tokyo, Japan.

    Here are the Carolina games:
    Week 1
    Washington at Carolina
    Week 2
    Carolina at New York Giants
    Week 3
    Carolina at Cleveland
    Week 4
    Pittsburgh at Carolina


    BTW, how are preseason opponents determined?

    You start off with Carolina playing Washington and Pittsburgh every year without end.

    what does the NFL use to whip up these preseason games? jeez, steelers and giants again? i can see the redskins since there's a huge fan base, but can we get the chiefs, bears, broncos or someone else every once in a while? don't care if they're exhibitions, but some variety would be good.

    The teams have some control over this, I believe. We played the Ravens and Pats for years.
