Really hope they become more of the Parachutes - type album rather than Rush of Blood To The Head. I liked what they did with both, but just enjoyed Parachutes more when it came out, the overall feel of the album. I really don't want them to go toward Radiohead, that's not what the band is, and I hope Martin keeps the political overtones to a necessary minimum. A lot of really powerful and interesting things have happened to him in particular in the last couple of years, and while I appreciate him talking to rat farmers in Outer Mongolia for Free Trade, I don't want to hear him singing about it.

i agree. i don't think this will be like rush or parachutes musically, but i do get where you are coming from as far as the flow-factor of parachutes. it just all seemed to fit together. rush was much more disjointed- but i thought it was more expansive than 'chutes thats why i like it better. although technically, i think 'chutes is more musically advanced than rush was- subtlety is so underrated.

'talk' has been leaked and will be a b-side. i'm loving it. not great lyrically, but it has that coldplay touch that makes you endear yourself to a song due to the play with lyrics and harmony.

pm me if you'd like me to email you it.
