    Kinda makes you wonder what would've happened had we been this forthcoming with a tackle (like Tait) and a corner last year.

    Still, not to take the air out, but this reminds me of 98. We're much more strong fundamentally (what we'd been needing, and needed for years, was a tackle), but if we don't strike gold this year or next, I have to wonder what'll be left.

    Mock it all you want, but the team had to lay down $25 mil to make us a better team today. If you did see that coming, you've got all the room for told-you-sos. If you didn't, you can damn well see where we were coming from.

    i'm not singling you out, silly, but there was someone -- i forget who -- who was about ready to throw in the towel on being a fan. i'll search around for it. but there was this post-after-post attitude that was so darn negative.

    things looked pretty nice to me a month ago (i just wanted the OL to get beefed up in free agency and get everyone back healthy who missed last season) and they look great now.
