So a friend and I were standing there talking, and another walks by talking about the Patriots and if they win that it'll be something that they've won 3 in a row. Right away that strikes me as "nuh uh", but didn't say anything as I looked at my buddy and waited on him to comment to me "nuh uh". He just agreed, and I began thinking REALLY hard, thinking I had missed one somewheres. I'm a lifelong Raiders fan, and I know where their sorry excuse of a Superbowl appearance stands in history. After a few seconds, he had passed on by, I looked at my bud and told him the Pats haven't won 2 in a row. He argued that they had, that the Bucs/Raiders game was before the Pats/Rams game...After aproximately 5 minutes of trying to, in a polite way, explain the Chronological order of the past 3 Super Bowls, and why in particular I would know the order, I finally had to give up and say, "well, maybe I'm thinking wrong"

So frustrating. Anyway I wish I knew a subtle way to throw the facts in his face without pissing him off. Do ya think printing the Superbowl history and giving it to him would be uncooth? (sp)

lol, I wanted to go get online right then and do just that...but wasn't able to where we were. We were at our Church at a bday party for my cousins 3yr old son. I was actually thinking of sneaking off and breaking/sneaking into an office to find a computer to get online to prove it. But I thought, that would just seem sad to just try and prove a point. But I was SO tempted... :laugh1:

Write that on a piece of paper and tell him to let you know what he finds out. If the pathetic fuck doesn't have a computer, you should print it out and laugh at him as you hand it to him.

never heard of a Raider fan with a sensitive feminine side. Maybe you should tell his wife to break it to him; You know, while they're fucking or something.

Fuck the politics. Go ahead and piss him off and let him take his choice of getting over it or dying with it.

Uncouth? Certainly not. But really, how can you really maintain a friendship with a person like this. Think about all the other things he's insisted upon you believing in the past. Not so sure now, are you? Maybe Lincoln wasn't really the second president. Maybe the moon isn't really the sun at night. Maybe, just maybe, Marilyn Manson WASN'T on the Wonder Years. Seriously, drop the friendship. It's just going to cause a lot of awkwardness in the future.
