    How come the writer didn't call the Tweety Fans "Rednecks" like they did us last year? :thinking: Atl is just as far South as we are. :huh:

    why on earth would you want atlanta to win? i'm hoping they lose 1000-2. and vick is left a quadraplegic after the game. and their howdy-doody coach is pelted with snowballs packed with leaky batteries.

    i spent a couple of days in philly this past week. prior to that, i was on the fence on this game. after i am 100% pulling for Atlanta.

    journalism (if you want to call it that) like this is part of the problem with the fans there. it adds to the notion that it is ok to act like assholes to people who do not share their love for the iggles.

    one other thing, the fans there are scared shitless. they feel like they have the better team (just like they did the past three years) but are not confident that the iggles will win. also, they will simply be happy to play in the Super Bowl. they don't care about winning it. what a sad group of fans that are content to winning a conference championship.

    How allegiances shift....

    When the Panthers are playing the Falcons in this most hypocritical of sports, I am hoping that Fields or Buckner or someone on the Carolina side will hit Michael Vick so hard that he is incapacitated for the rest of the game, the rest of the season.

    However -- when the Falcons are playing the Eagles, I am hoping the same thing happens to Donovan McNabb! Strange, isn't it? The Falcons may be shitbirds, but they're OUR (NFL South) Shitbirds! :mad:

    If I had my way, Philadelphia sufferes a 4 month blizzard, the game is canceled, and the AFC Championship is declaired Super Bowl XXXIX.
