Is a crock of shit. This team squandered away a chance to not be mediocre.

It's all shit now. A big steaming pile of shit.

    The fucking losers.

I won't remember a goddam bit of it, because in the end, it was as unmemorable and insignificant as any other 7-9 season.

Don't forget that just a month ago everyone had buried the Saints for the season and their coach was sure to be fired.

That should make you feel better.

I agree 100%. This team relapsed in to 2002 form- choke during the big game. Atlanta- choke. NO- choke.

7-9. Lost two of the last three, when shit really counted.

This year has sucked for me since.... well, I could take it back to Meadows' puss out; when the degree of sucking was yet to be determined, but we knew some degree of suckage would be in play.

Watching it unfold was a miserable vuja de experience, and I never did buy in to the playoff chances. Went farther than I thought we could there though, and they almost made a chump out of me. But in the end, my pessimism saw me through

Hopefully we did some good getting playing time for some guys, and convinced the powers that be that we can't skimp on the OL and win.

Fuck it. Just knowing Moose can ball and that Collin's whining about Jake being a shitty QB is wrong, those two things were worth this season. To hell with the team choking, but it was still interesting while it lasted. Four months of grimacing at the thought of us drafting a tackle with a mid-first is better than six.

no pessimism in the above strat.)

I think those are two pretty good sized silver linings. I just hope that Maser and the powers that be are not so cocky over their "somewhat limited" success that they won't put O-line on the front burner. IMO the OL woes have given ALL of our staff and FO enough of a headache to make O-line the numero uno off season priority.
Also- rooks like Gamble Colbert Wharton Cramer and other relatively green kids like RMJ Seidman Reyes and Moorehead got extrememly valuable game time reps. :xyzthumbs

    Fuck all of y'all

FOURTEEN players - not just a bunch of scrubs either on injured reserves - most of them starters from early in the season.

We had Nick FUCKING Goings as our starter at tailback - and he had NO backup.

We had Moose and a rookie at receiver.

It sucks they didn't make the playoffs, it sucks they had a losing record. There were a few games I wish they could have back.

But this team did DAMN good for all the adversity they faced this season.
