what tricks my mind is the fact that he's old. ok- you get beat by a great move or whatever. but not knowing your assignments is no excuse for someone with that many years in the league. now thats a dumb ************- its people like him that give offensive linemen the dumbass stereotype.

The I'm tired as hell of Matt Willig...

...and he's one thing I'm sure as hell glad I won't see starting next year. I still don't understand why he was at the end of this year, unless Fordham is STILL hurt. The way I understood it though "Willig has played better while Fordham is out and 'earned' the starting job."

Shit I got to where I'd expect a false start and a holding from him, and on a good day Jake would only be sacked 3 times from his side.

Willig was never supposed to start. He is a decent guy to have as a back up but at his age he is not going to hold up all year. I think he wore down as the year went on and had nothing left here at the end.

Right tackle is the biggest hole in our roster now. I hope we either get a solid guy in free agency or use a high draft pick to fill that hole. It is hard to be a ball control team when you have glaring holes on the OL.

He didn't do shit as a backup. What is your definition of a backup. Mine is someone that can come in, and while yes there's a drop off, the line doesn't go all to shit. Now if you definition of backup is standing his ass on the sideline, then hell I could be a decent backup.

He was a good backup last year. He's a bad starter this year. Credit the team for being off on their approach and Willig for mental mistakes.
