    after a little reading, I see those are images produced by ea sports based on the hardware specs...so that means they wont be that good. damn

    Those are PS3 screens as well.

    And think about this...the technology in the PS3 will be faster than the X-Box2. The PS3 is using "Cell" technology which has been clocked over 4ghz.

    I dont care if ps3 can go to 8ghz. If they lag behind the graphics again I wont buy one.

    Oh cmon Dave, PS2 set the standard, XBOX came along after the fact and picked up the pieces PS2 left behind.

    Im damn sure expecting PS3 to blow MS out of the water.

    Hopefully they'll have a similiar release date in mind so one doesnt get to see the other first. Makes for better market share and competition, and in the end, it all comes out better for us gamers.

    There isnt one single X-Box game on the market that has graphics that are far superior to the PS2. Period.

    Grand Trusimo 4 will be one of the prettiest game ever made and so is Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater. The X-Box may have the capability to make very pretty games but since the majority of the X-Box development teams suck ass, the games are average at best (with VERY few exceptions).

    game? nope, you're right.. sorta, that is if you dont include all the games XBOX offers in 480p 720i and 1080i. If you dont believe me, come over and I'll dig my old ps2 out of the closet and hook it up and then Ill turn on my XBOX and you will see the difference.


    I'd love to be able to play to ps2 on my TV but its so bad I couldnt stand it. I had to buy an XBOX because they were looking ahead to hdtv's.

    Well seeing as 95% of gamers arent old guys with lots of disposable money to waste on HDTV's, Sony didnt care.

    The games on the PS2 are just as pretty as any X-Box game. So for you to say that the PS2 was "lagging" behind in graphics is rather dumb.
