well generally you only cut the borderline players, since the bigger stars get more slack.

Yep. I thought the story was encouraging. I assumed they cut him because he just didn't have any talent. If he was being punished for making 2 mistakes, he might be salvagable. Of course, he might be stupid too, but at least we can give our coaches a shot with him.

It shows how dire the situation really has been and is.
Our safeties sucked from the beginning, the ol sucked from the beginning and the dl was thin.

You can not be cheap on the OL and expect to be a power running team, and stop the running game with db's who try to arm tackle and are out of position.

We are playing our practice squad and scraping other teams practuice squads.

I hope Fox and Hurney have learned their lessons well.

We will win more games but I hope thaey realize how much luck counted last year.

Yes. I really thought they had seen something in the Ss we had. Reyes might be OK if he could stay healthy. They really thought they could coach anyone because things worked out last year.

I picked up Whitley on ESPN 2K5 for one season because of injuries at CB...he pretty much sucked. It's just a game, but it's the only W's I get to see from the Panthers these days!
