Shouldn't we draft a RB. We need some running backs.:shakehead

    14. Carolina Panthers -- Jordan Gross has turned into a strong left tackle on offense, so upgrading at right tackle is a big need. If Muhsin Muhammad moves on in free agency there will be a big hole at wide receiver, and on the other side of the ball the Panthers are in need of a safety who can make plays.

wow..glad I didnt pay for this great "insider" info

That's not all of it. The full version includes info like The Earth is round and Ruben Studdard is a fatass.

Ah, not to worry. Apparently, Hurney and Fox are getting a hard-on for Travis Henry. Although, I am hard pressed to believe any of that Henry rhetoric.

    Next year's RB scenario:

    Foster: starts
    Davis: 8-12 touches
Goings: spot player, role will be important
    Hoover: blocker

For the record, I say we keep Jamal Robertson and make him push ol' He Hate Me for the KR job. Robertson is a better pure runner and a better return man (IMHO). Smart is a better overall ST player. Depends a lot on Hankton, I suppose. Don't want to lose your top two special teams tacklers after cutting a good one in Cooper.

Mags...gimme your dream draft. I haven't been here long, but you seem to be the draft doyen of TBR.

Fork it up. Do we trade down and stock picks? Is there enough value at 14 to keep the pick?

Honestly, Elton Brown, Jamaal Brown, or Thomas Davis would make me ecstatic. Probably in order of Jamaal, Elton, and then Thomas, just to throw off any virgins thinking I'm in love with Davis.

No, actually, because I think there'll be good safeties in round 2 also.
I'd go with Elton as a 2nd option in the first round because the need isn't as great, and same for a back - you can pair a bigger RB with a G in 3 and 4 and come out fine. Unfortunately, we could also use a LB in 3 or 4, so I wouldn't be heartbroken with that pick, I just think we could use the guard and the RB a little more.

For those of you who gotta have it visually,
    1. J. Brown
    2. FS
    3. G/RB
    4. G/RB
    5. LB
The wildcard for me would be a corner who can return. We can do better than Hawkins, and we need a RS, if not two.
