    it's unfortunate, to me. It's interesting how Basanez has some spark there (and can find Smith, and can get the damn ball out, and so on). But it's against backups and he's not led us to a score.

    I never put that much stock into whether a guy's good or not. I usually like it when guys on my team don't marry bankrobbers or conspire to kill their pregnant girlfriends, but yeah, please don't suck on the field.

    Me too. He played somewhat better this week. The sacks were mostly on him though. He's got to get the ball out and he's got to move.

    Basenez rolled out. First time I've seen a Panther QB do that this year. That is SO effective. I've been blaming the lack of it on Henning. Maybe not. I thought Jake used to do it back in the good old days.
