    I just remembered Ealy was a second round pick for the fat bastard. This trade is a quiet acknowledgement he fucked that up.

    I agree. But I won't be surprised if it's Barnett in the event Thomas is off the board. At this point, none of us on this board should be surprised by much.

    Kony probably wasn't making this team after the Peppers signing. Like Abusive said, we basically moved up a handful of spots in the draft, assuming the picks are both for 2017. I really like the move.

    I think it's similar to safety. You can still take a guy at 8 if you'd like, but you don't have to force the issue. It would make sense to draft an end at some point considering Julius is here most likely as a one off and CJ's injury issues, but moving Ealy is absolutely a net positive. People think it's a great move by the Patriots they because remember Ealy from the Super Bowl. They don't know him like we do.
