I think you can cut the guy some slack. He's taken grief from people saying he shouldn't play, when in fact he risked his career for his team and played well.

Yeah, but the reason why that happens is because he draws so much attention to himself. If he hadn't have done things such as yell at his OC, celebrate on the midfield logo of an opposing stadium, or call a former teammate queer, I'm sure nobody would be using the word 'selfish' to describe T.O.'s efforts tonight. Richard Seymour played earlier than he was supose to and no one called him selfish. Just by coincidence Richard Seymour doesn't draw attention to himself, and I'm guessing those two things go hand and hand.

I love the fact that he played tonight. I don't see it as anything other than the guy trying to do all he can to help his team win. But there is a reason why it is percieved as self serving to a lot of people. If he was a little more professional in his work, and if he didn't pull publicity stunts on the field to promote himself, then he would never have to answer any questions about being a selfish player.

T.O. is as big of a ham as there has ever been in the NFL but he did put on a heroic effort and you have to give him props for it.

My respect for the man increased a lot for playing as well as he did without even having a brace or extra tape on that ankle. But I still can't stand him, and there's no way I'd want him in a Carolina uniform.

The fact he's a tough SOB doesn't mean he isn't still a cancer in the locker room.

He just couldn't bear the thought of missing out on such a grand stage.

You're nuts, I'd take him in a heartbeat. His competitiveness and work ethic are all you can ask for in a receiver.

I wouldn't advocate going after huge free agents, but I wouldn't complain about getting a guy like that in the draft.

I'd rather have him than cover him.
