Way too early to judge but fuck that I'll do it anyway.

When this draft happened, everyone seemed very pleased. Right now, it looks like it may be HUrney / Fox's worst outing, particularly regarding immediate impact.

None of them shined in round one of preseason.

I'm bummin' on the DAvis at LB move. I hope he eats up the Giants.

I think we found good "value" in round 4.

If Davis starts at SLB, and I'm far from convinced that he will (Draft has played the position and looked good in training camp), then that will definitely hurt our already suspect run defense. That said, I'm not at all worried about his long-term impact. And while some are down on Shelton, I think he's going to be a very nice back for us. Plus Mathis and Ellison are looking like contributors, while even LeFors showed something against Washington.

I honestly don't see where this is a bad class for us. Davis and Shelton will determine whether or not there are any stars, but I see quite a bit of long-term production in those picks.

    I hope you're right Collin.

I hope these guys play long term. And it's nice, in a way, to not HAVE to rely on immediate rooie production. For the first time I remember, we drafted for depth.

Speaking of depth, our team is ridiculous. At almost every position we'll be cutting someone we would have been glad to keep in previous years.

This is why this year's class may not be an impact class - we drafted for depth.
