nope, Manning retired in '84 and Testaverde wasn't in the league until '87.

People play at less than 100% ALL the time, this is Fox's decision all the way. John Fox, professional head coach, must feel like the team is so much more behind Vinny that he'd risk losing them if he pushed Carr on them and Carr failed.

Can't say I'm even a little surprised or that I really agree with it as far as who gives us the best chance to win this particular game, but I understand it.

according to Carr, he suffered a compression fracture in his spine.

I don't really care who starts Sunday--they just have to play well. If they play well, they have a chance. Drops, missed assignments, etc=playing poorly=losing big. If they play well, they have a chance to hang in there.

Obviously, I'm not David Carr's biggest fan, but I hope he hets himself healthy soon. In the meantime, I support Fox's choice...we are obviously huge home dogs for this game regardless of which QB starts, but I think we have a little bit more of a chance with Vinny.

It's been almost two months, and I have no idea but I'm sure tired of hearing about it. We need to make some major roster changes at LB that's for sure.

It's the smart move. Tessio was always smarter.

The team is feeling better about themselves after a two touchdown win under Vinny. He's a proven commodity in the league, in spite of his age.

I think Carr has potential, but he hasn't shown it in the games he's played for Carolina so far. Personally, I believe Indy's secondary would rather Carr play.

agreed, though if it wasn't a situation at first, there's nothing we can do about it right now.
